Cultural Resource Management (CRM) is a field of study and practice that focuses on the identification, preservation, and management of cultural heritage resources. It encompasses a range of activities aimed at safeguarding and interpreting archaeological sites, historic buildings, artifacts, cultural landscapes, and other tangible and intangible heritage elements.
This collection houses datasets pertaining to cultural resource management, with a focus on the First Nations in Northwestern B.C. who have inhabited the area since time immemorial and have felt the effects of the increasing pressure on our natural resources, making it more important than ever to conduct research into traditional knowledge and traditional use.
