The University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), known as Canada's Green University, is a regional university known for its humanitarian and environmental teaching and research, and its partnership with the Lheidli T’enneh Nation on whose unceded territory its main campus in Prince George rests on. With sibling campuses in Quesnel, Terrace, and Fort St. John, UNBC is a staple in the north as a center for education and is ranked among Canada's best small universities by Maclean's magazine.
