Wildlife Management Advisory Council (North Slope)

The Wildlife Management Advisory Council (North Slope), made up of representatives of five members, aims to conserve and protect wildlife, habitat and traditional Inuvialuit use within the Yukon North Slope.

The Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA) was signed in 1984 and stands as one of Canada's first modern land claims. This Council is a result of this agreement and is guided by the values and responsibilities it sets out.
