Understanding Columnar Growth of Western Redcedar (Thuja Plicata) in the Kitimat Valley

In this study, morphological, physiological and anatomical approaches were combined to better understand columnar growth of Western redcedar in the Kitimat Valley. This report details the relationship between columnar growth and industrial emissions in the Kitimat Valley, as well as branch morphology and leaf cell development between columnar and normal redcedar.
